Patrick Robinson out as Gap design head

Rage_Robinson Patrick Robinson, tapped as head of design for the Gap brand four years ago, has left the company, according to a news release posted Thursday at the Gap Inc. website.

Robinson, who held the title of executive vice president of Gap global design for adult and body, is the former artistic director at Paco Rabanne. He joined Gap in 2007, and presented his first Gap collection during New York Fashion Week in February 2008.
