This Saturday is the cross country regional! St. Anthony will be heading down to Robinson to run. In cross country the top 5 teams advance to sectionals in addition to the top 5 individuals who are not on a qualifying team. The Robinson regional has some pretty tough competition for both the boys' and girls' cross country teams. Both teams hope to advance, but, with some of the best competition around, it will not be an easy task. If you're a true supporter you'll go down to Robinson to cheer on the team to sectionals! Maybe if you're lucky you'll even get to see the sophomore boys' famous "disco dancing". The top 7 on the girls team who will be running at regional include myself, Liz Wortman, Lauren Hoelscher, Emmie Schultz, T
aylor Oltman, Cheslynn Litke, Paige Oltman, and Clara Zwettler. The boys' top 7 include Reed Willenborg, Anthony Raddatz, Ryan Hoelscher, Jared Having, Drew Willenborg, Jake Spraul, and with number 7, Patrick Grunloh, recently out with an injury, Andrew Grunloh will take the 7th spot. In order to advance, everyone will have to run a very good race because it will be difficult for the team to slip by on second best performances. This puts on the pressure for the entire team, so wish them good luck!
