In Response to Is Cheerleading a Sport.

In response to Emmie's post about If Cheerleading is a sport or not.

According to the United States Supreme Court, Cheerleading is not a sport. Here is a link to prove it: http://www.spike.com/blog/united-states-court/97856. However, I do agree that cheerleading is hard work and takes a lot of physical ability to participate in it -- but currently it is just an activity. The Supreme Court could change this ruling after the sport is better organized however, but until then it remains an activity and is protected under Title IX of our constitution.
