Hot Chocolate

With Christmas just around the corner, snow is on everyone mind. My mind is on hot chocolate! Here is a recipe for a hot chocolate with that peppermint candy crunch!

Ingredients:
4 cups of milk

1 ounce of semisweet chocolate (chopped)

4 peppermint candy canes (crunched)

1 cup of whipped cream

4 small peppermint candy canes


Directions:

In a saucepan, heat milk till hot, but not boiling. Whisk in the chocolate and crushed peppermint candies till smooth and melted. Pour hot cocoa into four mugs. Cover with whipped cream and serve small candy canes as a stirring stick.


Enjoy! (this goes really well with a snow day!)
