'A New Arab Generation Finds Its Voice'

Sometimes you come across a piece of journalism that's so well done that you just point to it, get out of the way and hope others -- like you, dear reader -- will take 5, 10 or 15 minutes, whatever you can spare, to check it out.

Such is the case with this superb multimedia presentation by The New York Times. Metro dailies may be struggling mightily across the country, and even the storied Times has its financial challenges. But journalism like this is essential to our acquiring the knowledge and perspectives needed to understand our tumultuous times.
