An Honest Golf Player

Brian Davis, a professional golfer, went into a playoff with Jim Furyk on April 18. The Verizon Heritage Tournament was played at Harbour Town and had some of the best golfers at the tournament. Davis and Furyk were going back in forth with the lead and finally went to a playoff hole. Furyk teed off and hit it his ball on the fair way. Davis teed off and he also hit his shot down the fair way. Davis next shot went into the rough and then Furyk went into the sand. Davis then hit his last shot until he thought that his ball moved before he hit it. In the result of this happening, Davis would have a two stroke penalty. Davis got the official and told the official what he thought happened. They had to get the camera crew because the didn't believe this happened to Davis. We later found out that the camera crew looked over the replay and they said the ball moved in slow motion. Davis called his own penalty and lost the Verizon Heritage to Jim Furyk. I believe Davis is an honest man for this kind of respectful act to Jim Furyk.
