For the past 10 years an improv group has held its annual 'No Pants Subway Ride'. This year the group chose Sunday, January 9th at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy their famous but chilly train ride. The group from the Metropolitan area had 6 different meeting spots. One the groups were formed, the individuals boarded the trains and were instructed to behave as they normally would on the train, but when they're stop was near, they were told to take off their pants. This was to be repeated on each stop until 5:30 p.m. Depsite the freezing temperatures in New York, the ride attracted thousands of participants. 24 other countries claimed to have groups of pantless subway-riders who joined the New-Yorkers in this strange adventure.
