Too cold?

We've all enjoyed the 5 snow days this winter, but the cold has become almost unbearable. As I've been watching the temperatures drop deep into the negatives, I've been wondering how the northeasterners have been holding up. An article I found concerning the state of Vermont claims that temperatures continue to decrease, almost always dropping into the negatives. In one area of Vermont, weather forecasters predicted a high of -21 degrees with a windchill of -50! Over in New York, out reach vans have been busier than ever looking for homeless individuals in need of warmth and shelter. Schools all over the northeastern region have either cancelled or delayed openings due to the extremely low temperatures. So before you start complaining about the bitter coldness in Illinois, remember: It could be worse!
