English II on the Radio!

Today, about 10 minutes ago actually, Mrs. Cross' 2nd hour Speech class took a little trip to the radio station to be interviewed about the change we have been collecting over the past month. Since Mrs. Cross kept the total amount a secret on her last post, I'll be the one to tell you 1st the grand total amounted to $869.02! Can you believe it!? No one was even within $50 of guessing the correct amount, and the student that guessed the closest was Leah Sloan who guessed $950. Our interview on the radio went pretty good until they forced us to sing, which was a bad idea from the start considering no one could remember the 2nd verse to We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Other than the singing mishap everything else went well, Lauryn Ragland and Steven Wolke were chosen to be the speakers so they got to wear the headphones, even though they didn't do a whole lot of talking. The entire class got to say their names over the radio, so everyone got a chance to talk on the radio. The trip was a success and I'm glad to be in 2nd hour! Sorry 6th hour, but it was a fun experience!
