Learning your lines

For those of you who have been in a play/musical, you know how hard it can be to learn your lines. There are so many of them, and it's just painful to get them all down. Practices for the Spring Play just started, so Mrs. Cross asked me if I have memorized my lines. So naturally I told her that I didn't. She responded with (in a tone of love and adoration), "Then I'll have to kill you." So just a warning to the people in the play, learn your lines. The sooner the better. It's also useful to know how to say certain words like Gwendolen or Cecily. So if you don't learn your lines..well.. your body might be found in a ditch somewhere with a carrot sticking out of your eye.
