Review of Avatar

Avatar was released Dec 18, 2009. The film was a long one, coming in at just under 3 hours, and Avatar is one of the most expensive movies ever made; it is estimated to have cost $300,000,000, and has $504,868,451 in the box office. This film, however, is not all special effects and explosions. It has a great storyline with many plot twists. The movie is creative and very entertaining, with action, romance, beautiful visual effects, and a unique plot, it would be hard not to enjoy this movie. They do a good job with the 3d and did not overdo it to the point where you would think it was a Disney children's movie. The 3d just adds depth to the special effects in the movie. This movie is definitely worth seeing, and I would suggest it to anyone, in any age group.
