Scholarships Galore

Most people would like to think their senior year will be a year to blow off. WRONG! My senior year has been my hardest by far. From Calculus to English to Spanish, I have been swamped with homework. And that's not all. Scholarships have been running my life. College is expensive and scholarships give you the opportunity to win money. I found a scholarship today that had 5 different essays within it. 5 ESSAYS for a chance to win some money. I sure hope it eventually pays off.

I heard from the seniors last year not to procrastinate. Most of the local scholarships are due at end of March, so I'm getting a jump start and beginning now. I will never know how busy I will be then or how bad my senioritis will be.

To all you underclassmen out there, my advice is to be organized. When you're organized you can get so much more done. You can reduce stress caused by clutter and spend less time looking for papers. You will be able to meet your deadlines more efficiently. With countless numbers of scholarships with different deadlines and qualifications, being organized is vital.
