Pants on the Ground: A Larry Platt Story

As you all know, The hit reality show "American Idol" has rolled around to it's ninth season. Each season bringing outstanding vocalists, embarrassing outfits, (and singing voices, for that matter!), and something, or someone, that does something that we will not soon forget. Larry Platt, 63, was the comedy act of the season. Almost 3 times over the maximum age limit, Larry Platt won the hearts of the producers and made it through to Randy, Simon, & Kara DioGaurdi to audition.

Simon asked, "Larry, what song are you going to be singing for us today?" His reply: "Pants on the Ground." This song turned instantly into a comedy phenomenon, flooding YouTube with videos & hundreds of FaceBook groups. Platt wrote this song after seeing a man with a baby with his underwear heavily exposed. Platt says, “Be a man. Don’t be walking around showing yourself to the world! I don’t think that’s right!” Larry Platt is currently debating on whether or not to make it a single, also stating that he has a female version of "Pants on the Ground." A snippet of the song's hilarious lyrics include, "Pants on the ground, Pants on the ground! Lookin’ like a fool with you pants on the ground! Gold in your mouth, hat turned sideways, pants hit the ground! Call yourself a cool cat looking like a fool!" If he eventually does turn this song into a single, I'd definitely be in line to buy it!
